Michael Wilderman has been living and photographing
in the Washington DC area for almost 25 years and has documented local
artists and jazz activities that are unique to the nation's capital .

Drummer Paul Murphy is a DC resident and one of the area's best kept musical secrets. He was a long-term member of saxophonist Jimmy Lyon's group, and has performed and recorded most recently in DC with pianist Joel Futterman, bassoonist Karen Borca, and cellist Kash Killion.

Guitarist Danny Gatton played jazz and everything else too.
