I exhibited eleven of my photographs of Marshall Allen and his colleagues at the Vision in June
and was pleased to participate with the Vision Festival and Arts for Art in honoring the long-time
musical conributions of Marshall Allen. Congratulations to Marshall on his May 2009 85th
birthday and for his on-going and heart-felt efforts in guiding the Sun Ra Arkestra.
His carrying on the legacy of Sun Ra is especially valued by our creative community.
After the festival, Peter Gershon of Signal To Noise magazine interviewed Marshall Allen for a
feature article and requested that we add a feature of my photographs of Marshall. So,
