EXHIBITS

My photos of the Art Ensemble of Chicago were on exhibit during the 2016 DC Jazz Festival in conjunction with artist Bill Warrell's mural project that was based on my photographs. The mural is still available for viewing along with other murals. The mural is seen below:.

Marshall Allen exhibit

My photographs were exhibited June 2009 at Vision Festival 14, in New York City. The festival honored a lifetime of achievement by Marshall Allen, who was the subject of my exhibit. The photos of Marshall and Sun Ra go back to 1974 and others are from more recent sessions with Kidd Jordan, Alan Silva, William Parker, Henry Grimes and others.

It featured my jazz photos along with the paintings and drawings of three friends - all stimulated by jazz and other music. The exhibit demonstrates the synergy of music and visual arts and is available for presentation at other galleries. Please click the link for pictures from the exhibit and more information.
